From May through July, I served as a stakeholder reviewer for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
My review work considered patient-centeredness, scientific merit, feasibility, and the potential of proposed research to improve healthcare outcomes. I also reviewed plans for sharing findings and putting them into practice, with attention to health equity, accessibility, and real-world impact.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a process that keeps patients’ needs and experiences at the center of research.
