Building my qualitative research toolkit
I completed 40 hours of advanced qualitative methods training through ResearchTalk and the UNC Odum Institute.
I completed 40 hours of training in the 23rd Annual Qualitative Research Summer Intensive, offered by ResearchTalk in partnership with the UNC Odum Institute for Research in Social Science, during July and August.
The workshops covered grounded theory, qualitative survey research, design thinking, rapid qualitative inquiry, and reflexive thematic analysis.
Understanding health also means listening carefully to how people describe their experiences. This training adds to the methods I can draw on when studying the cultural and social contexts of health and healthcare decisions.
